Welcome to Cypher Skis, where bad ideas turn into even better skis.
We’re three buddies who thought, "Hey, why not start a ski company?" (Seriously, why not?) What began as a running joke somehow spiraled into an actual business because who doesn’t love a little chaos? Spoiler: we had no idea what we were doing, but we knew we wanted to be different. And here we are.
At Cypher, we don’t play by the rules. We’re not here to blend in with the cookie-cutter shapes and snooze-fest graphics. We’re here to make cool shapes and crazy designs that speak to the younger, wilder generation of skiers who aren't afraid to send it. Whether you're ripping through the park, charging big mountain lines, or just pizza-french-frying your way down the slopes, we’re here to hype you up. Skiing should be fun, and we’re all about sharing that stoke.
Why Cypher? Glad you asked. When we were throwing out names, cypher had a vibe. It had a ring to it. And it definitely helped that we’re all huge fans of the 2016 XXL Freshman Cypher — shoutout Lil Uzi, Lil Boat, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, and Denzel Curry for the inspo. Just like those guys shook up the rap game, we want to shake up the ski scene.
We’re not trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to build sick skis and keep the good times rolling. Whether you’re stomping tricks in the park, sending cliffs, or just vibing with your crew, Cypher is here to ride with you. So grab a pair, hit the slopes, and let’s make some questionable decisions together.
